For rathalos, it's built like Monster Hunter, so you have 3 "carts" (KOs) you can suffer before failure, which are shared by the whole team.
It's actually easy to do with bard, as you have access to a cleanse to get rid of the burning debuff, which can easily kill you otherwise if the stacks get too high. Alternatively, if you have a thick enough shield, it prevents you from gaining stacks of burn, which can prevent the timers from refreshing.

For the monster hunter mount, i would say finding a PF curb stomp group is ideal, ive run it hundreds of times (helping out FC mates and friends) and I've never seen the mount drop, sitting on 236 +scales atm after getting all gear and buying the mount, and since everyone loots their own scales i wouldn't bother trying to solo it, as it just goes SUPER slow otherwise.

Neo Exdeath was an intense and very fun solo kill, did it as a Paladin, then again as a Warrior. Food and potions were needed as Paladin, though I’m far from optimal gear as tanks are my alt jobs. I don’t quite have enough damage in this gear to deal with Kefka’s dps check for phase 1 though I’m close, even with a perfect run, food and potions. Soon.

My take is if it requires the current savage gear to solo Stormblood savage then your probably better off just getting your raid static to do them with you.

from my experience, you got super lucky getting seiryu mount first time...i've had to farm him probably the most out of the kamuys

afaik you can "cheat" on kamuy (lanner and horse mounts as well): just wait for next moogle treasure trove because usually one of the kamuy is part of the rewards.
but it will take more than a year to collect every one of them this way; give the various trials a try

Nice list! I wouldn't mind an updated base Dawntrail update of this. Of course new mounts you can solo farm and maybe updates to which previous mounts, like the ones in this vid, are even easier to farm now. In those cases maybe include which ilvl is recommended for it being easy and maybe even which jobs it's more easy with. Thanks for this year old info!

the Air Force mount is an absolute must, for Lalafell. They look so freakin' adorable in it, like its some amusement park ride.

You should make a note of what level or gear level you can accomplish this at sufficiently. Since some of us watching this are new or midway leveling

That Magitek Pred mount…for the first day I farmed that dungeon for 3 hours straight and no drop. Felt like shit so didn’t bother with it for a few days. After that little break, I got it on my first run 😂
