Thank you, God bless you and your whole family, and animals.

Biblically there is the concept of “do not harvest the edges of your field, leave it for the poor” this is a Torah principle and we see it played out in the book of Ruth. She was gleaning the portion of the field that was left for the poor in keeping with the commandments.… it speaks to the righteousness and character of the owner of the field. So whatever we produce we should produce more than we need so we can give away the overflow.

Our church supports a local food bank. My son is disabled and his wife also and the amount they get barely covers bills, so we help them as well.our food bank is trying to help twice the people now, it’s overwhelming .

Just saw your video. Food tithe is a good idea. I want to tell you about my experience. About 12 years ago I got hurt at work. I had no income for a while. I remember standing and looking at my kitchen cabinet and crying. I had 4 cans of food in it. I said "What am I going to do Lord ". He laid on my heart to give half away, I did. My cabinets have NEVER been empty since that day. Every month I try to give half away. Last shopping Haul I was able to give away 90%. Now I'm not a rich woman, poverty level but The Lord guides me to fantastic sales. I buy cases of food for as low as $1 a case. Thanks be to our Lord for providing. Thank you for this video

You have inspired me. I will be making a generous donation of food to our church’s blessing booth. Our last donation was a car seat, coats, boots, hats, gloves and shoes. ❤🙏

I was talking with my sister about this a few weeks ago. Over the last 3 seasons, it hasn’t occurred to me that I need to pray over our land and garden with each sowing. And 10% of each harvest needs to go back to God. That is how I’ve decided to tithe my land. God bless.

We have a food closet outside a resale shop that people put food in for others to go take what they need.

Aldi has cans of corn or green beans 50 cents a can, buy a flat with each paycheck- $6, and you have some shelf stable to use or share. Drought famine, shipping issues, save it for later because in a year who knows what will be available

Have you noticed Walmart, Kohls, and JC Pennys have cut their jewelry department down to costume jewelry only. Walmart and Kohls no longer have a jewelry counter at all. The gold and silver is being removed from easy access. Jewelry

Started a cabbage plant putting a peice of the hard parts of a store bought cabbage in a cup of water and keeping it "watered".. then after 4 weeks replanted in soil the hard peice and new roots.. think dozens?...

Thank you so much for sharing. I am a single person, and my grocery bill has doubled. I am now spending for 2 people. But I am grateful as I know I am probably doing better than some! I am very blessed. Going through my pantry, and looking to donate some food to the local food pantry. I know many food banks are in dire need!

I've been making meals in a bag for the elderly. I don't have much, but willing to share. Thanks for the message!

I love this idea of a food tithe. Our elderly in South Africa live of $111 a month for food, electricity, gas. We have seen more and more people not coping. Thank you!

I volunteer at a church garden that grows fresh veg for their food pantry. I am learning good gardening habits. I have started my own garden with a peach tree. A tomato plant, and a bell pepper plant. It's a start!
