My mother worked her whole life taking care of the 3 of us in the 80's and she is the most empowered woman I've known. She always wanted to be a mother and that's what she did. My father worked hard to bring a descent income so my mother didn't have to leave us at a day care eating crap the whole day and getting sick every other week. I'm very lucky that my mother wasn't exposed to the crap of feminism.

I am a stay at home mom by choice. I chose to care for my child instead of hiring someone else to care for her. I chose to set my career aside and be a mother. I chose to give up things that don't really matter in life to have the greatest job I will ever have. That is my new career and I am very proud of it.

*Joey B is spot on right here. I'm a retired cop, worked from home for few years then quit the workforce altogether because I don't need to deal with the insanity of today. Since I'm home 100% of the time I take pride in taking care of my home, shopping, cooking, laundry, watch my sports, do what I want and take care of my wife who's still working for 4 more years. What's the big deal? My wife is happy, I'm happy, my home is well cared for and I'm getting paid a pension to do so. Joey, you need to book an appearance on the Matt Walsh show because you two are 2 peas in a pod. That would be a great show!*
