I stayed at a Marriott in Baltimore years back, and there was a "Bronycon" Convention going on at the hotel at the same time. Basically it was a bunch of grown ass men walking around in My Little Pony costumes. Bro+pony= Brony. It was disturbing

I'm a furry and I actually love yout comments on this video. I agree on the cheap last minutes suits/ costumes, but I guess it's a form of desperation to try to fit into something; so its costuming on a budget. There are suiters that are just lazy with the half-ass head and hand-paws only, skin showing on legs and arms. There are fursuiters that seriously should wash their suits AND body more. I wash mine everytime I wear it, and my suit usually smells like cologne or febreeze. To sum up the fandom, it's a group of primarily socially awkward folks whom want to be part of something. Some do it through suiting as it's a way of expressing a part of yourself with the illusion of a protective barrier (costume), or the desire to be something else of your design being that you are not content of just being "average" or at times "below average" human. For me, I just like wearing costumes and entertaining. The furry fandom is just one of the subcultures I'm part of. Others including Anime, Comics and Steam Punk.

I ubered a couple from their apartment to the airport so they could go to this thing and they were in fact the worst smelling people I've had in my car.
