I still have no idea how throwing soup on a painting is helping the environment. They're literally wasting food.

Being an artist, knowing the miserably tragic life Van Gogh led and the small moments of joy he got from painting sunflowers, this makes me incredibly angry beyond words. Those two disrespectful, vapid morons would've left that museum on stretchers if I'd been there to witness this absolute idiocy.

Van gogh died thinking no one would ever appreciate his paintings. Humanity let the man die with nothing to live for. The least we can do, is preserve what he built.

The worst part about this is that, because they believe they're doing something good, they won't reflect or learn from their actions.

Art was Van Gogh’s life. It was his passion, and the only thing he did well. I refuse to let his works be ruined.

Everything they are wearing has oil in it in some form. Including the camera they are using to film. Real revolutionaries these are.

The person who made that painting will still live in memory as one of the great artistic geniuses of our times.

damn she got the balls to say 'is it worth more than food' when she literally threw food, something which so many unfortunate people around the world need and value so much, at a painting. she rebutted her own statement before even making it.

The value of that painting is $80.99 million. Fortunately, it was covered by glass and wasn’t damaged, though the frame was. Museums need to put valuable art behind bulletproof glass to protect it from these monsters.

Edit: Also, they were charged criminally, and pleaded “not guilty” in court, as is typical of criminals.

Protesting about 'Just stop oli' while wearing tshirt and jeans made from polyester material, shoes made from synthetic rubber derived from petroleum, using a tin can which used petroleum from mining to the can making process, the tomato paste in the can farmed using petroleum in farming equipment, driving to the art gallery in a car running on petrol but the biggest one is dyeing for her hair purple from petroleum based colour.

I heard of a group of people in Germany that did this, they ignored them and left them there. They even closed up and left them glued to the floor for the night.

This is what happens when you never hear your parents say "no"

her parents aren`t crack heads, they are likely bankers, lawyers, or an academic. their accents are extremely upper class..

Imagine been so distorted from reality while thinking you are a genius

I just love how they throw tomato soup on a priceless piece of art while being careful not to get their white shirts dirty.
