Last year I was with my mother @ her doctor visit & I mentioned I was drinking a lot of water all of a sudden.. They tested me & my glucose was 457.. Went to my new doctor the next day & found my A1c @ 10.9.. The quack doctor gave me Metformin which I only took for 10 days then trash canned the stuff.. I cut out all carbs & went to the gym 2x a day. My A1c dropped to 6.0 in 6 weeks. then to 5.1 three months later... If you find yourself with type 2 diabetes, don't listen to the quack doctors who put you on drugs. Get serious about it. No carbs & hit the gym till you drop 7 days a week. The diabetes will be gone in a flash... Or eat Metformin 'till it slowly kills you.

@Taypinkflamingo. I hear you. I have trouble with balance and standing and sitting straight sometimes so things like pushups, sit ups, and weight lifting are definitely not something that I can do. The best I can do is walking or brisk walking

One thing that confuses me are the big difference in the ADA blood sugar /A1C vs the VA CHARTS. . For example my last 3 mo check thru my VA lab came back as BS - 98 A1C-- 5.9 THE same comparisons on the ADA CHART would say my A1C was 4.9 . The difference is frustrating.

Suffered from chronic insomnia in January of this year. Led to this weird development of IR. My fasting glucose turned to a 97 and a1c into 5.4 in may of this year. My diet wasnt perfect still lots of carbs but lots of supplements and bed rest .. Now this month a1c hits 5.0 and random glucose 82. Symptons still havnt improved such as hair loss and dark patches so now im doing keto/paleo diet with exercise and upgrading my supplement stack from regular berberine to super berberine and ima use a short 3 month supply of low does metformin to give me the edge. Hopefully my a1c drops below 4.8 and my IR is fixed… my trigs are a whopping 167 .. hopefully it drops to 50’s too

Could you recommend a good brand of blue blockers? I used to buy them at my eye doctor but they break easy and have gone thru 4 of them so far. Thank you!

At 77 I'm not exercising. An old lion doesn't work out. Like the lion I'll just eat meat. BMI of 23.5. Your advice is for others, not me. Over the years I've done endless hours walking, on the stair climber and stationery bike with zero improvements. Life is more than avoiding your death.

I couldn’t sleep well and was going downhill. Doctors claim to not know.

Found out it was due to low testosterone.
