Thank you for this video. I wish more cardiologist would step up to the plate and share stuff with us to help us understand what we need to know to stay healthy.

The two things I avoid.
1. Doctors
2. Hospitals.

So, I quit smoking 20 years ago, I don't like alcohol so that's not an issue, and I wasn't raised drinking soda. I do like sugar a little too much and try to cut out as much as I can when I can. I also started making my own breads because they are getting too expensive and have total crap in them. 😂Next up is milling my own flour. I'm a work in progress, but I enjoy a straight talking Doc. Thanks for sharing.

My husband had a stroke and he always denied it was related to drinking and smoking. I can't fix stubborn 👀

Thanks, doc! Numbers 1, 2, & 3, are no problem, they don't tempt me, but carbs are my down-fall. I will work on it though, because I do have heart issues and I could stand to lose some weight. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction!

Doctor, “No more smoking, alcohol or fatty foods”.
Me, “Will I live any longer?”
Doctor, “Probably not, but it’ll feel like it”.

Ever since I was a small kid my dad would drink whiskey, beer, wine, etc and he is still alive at 85 years of age! His mother, my grandmother, lived to 95!

Very correct docor. I was an occasional drinker but there was a serious change to my body and brain when I completely stopped drinking! Every cell of my body was affected. Thank you.
