I used one of the magnetic carabiners on the Colorado and the fine silt jammed the mechanism. Have gone back to the auto lock.

I love the black diamond magnetron rock lock. The magnetron vapor lock is also nice when trying to save some weight. When I have multiple people in my raft, it is nice to know all the carabiners are locked without having to check screw gates. I actually found the magnetron seem to hold up better in the water than the twisting auto locking carabiners I've used in the past.

I have been looking at the DMM or Petzl carabiner with built in pulley. Less loose pieces and maybe slight weight savings.

I also just swapped out my webbing for the Blue Water Dyneema like you have. Seems great plus is about half the bulk.

The Gerber EZ-Out knife you have listed is my favorite. I’ve tried the clip in case ones (like NRS Pilot) but hate how they flop around, especially while kayaking. Plus I was always worried about pulling out wrong way and putting my thumb on the blade.

I find the Sterling Hollowblock to be far superior to the autoblock, with little price difference. It is even less sensitive to cord diameter and is harder wearing (maybe not important for this application). I noticed it was also on your store link, so just giving it a shout out
Also, the Camp Tethys is a cheaper, sealed bearing pulley, at ~$30. Curious how it would compare

Rolling without pulleys on your person is totally justafiably in my opinon... Do you rock a 'cows tail'? What about a personal throw bag? I've also been rolling with a carabiner attatched straight to a prusik for the same reasons you mentioned. Cows Tail treats me well, mostly for holding onto my boat without using my hands... but also obvisouly for 'live bait'...
