I love those moments when your muscle memory kicks in and you can predict what the car is going to do

Damn looked sick. Im still learning to control lift off oversteer to regain traction in corners

Liftoff oversteer yes.
Snap oversteer no.

If it snapped, the car would have just flung itself to the right. It's what would have happened if you didn't catch it like you did.

That was due to lifting off the throttle. When the engine braking kicked in and the car started to decelerate, the central gravity of the car gets pushed forward, lightening up the rear end, which caused the decrease of grip on the rear axle. The speed carried through the corner was too much for the decreased grip to handle, which caused oversteer.
At least this is what 10 years of watching F1 taught me, correct me if I was wrong anywhere in my "deduction". It was very well controlled, nevertheless.

Came for snap oversteer.
Saw neat drift instead.

Yeah when you come off the throttle like that the weight balance comes off the back tires and on to the steer tires, really common, really fun. Nice catch 🤙

You need to sacrifice turn 9 at ECR just a tiny bit more to get a better run through turn 10. But good save, especially to get it back with that much wheel lock in without spearing off to the right afterwards. Keep in mind the entry to 10 is downhill so the car's leaning forwards, shifting the weight off the rear tires. As a result you really want to enter in such a way that you can keep the throttle on.

if you want snap over-steer the B15 Sentra has that if you don't know how to drive it will chomp down. then toss you into the bushes rear end first

I do this every chance i get driving my lancer EX entering a sharp corner. Lovely feeling.

Don't get that a lot after switching to 245/45/R18. The car drived on rails now (which is a good thing) so you have to force it and snap your steering when entering a corner at high speed (i'd say 110+kmh)

I don't care what engine or car it is, rpm drop when you let in the clutch sounds amazing

Nice! Eagles Canyon? I've gotten loose at that corner too in my '02 Mustang on my first track day haha. Wasn't going anywhere as fast, but car was 45deg sideways and I caught it, was satisfying! 😁

Liftoff oversteer is driver error. Snap oversteer is when the car snaps so violently you don't have time to predict or correct it. The old Porsche's were known for this.
