Wauw, good catch! Lift earlier and power through the turn would be my guess.

I don't know if you are driving a RWD or FWD, but as an American driver of an old mid-engine RWD car (80's mr2), great job! You caught the mistake instantly and responded correctly. I've been in similar situations, thought at much slower speed, and I was impressed with myself at the time.

If I were you, then I would be showing this video to all my friends, to show how well I drive. Some people call this an "oh shit" moment, I call it an "I'm a badass" moment, because you reacted PERFECTLY. Awesome stuff!

Das konnten die ersten TTs auch gut auf perfekten, langgezogenen Autobahnkurven.
Dann kam die Lippe auf den Kofferraum und man wusste plötzlich wo vorne und hinten ist.

Mit diesen modernen Autos alles kein Problem.
Hatte letztens im I30 N ne ähnliche Situation, selbst wenn die Helferlein "aus" sind ists kein Problem sowas einzufangen wenn man ein bisschen Ahnung vom Autofahren hat.
Trotz allem allzeit gute und Unfallfreie fahrt!

Simple error: wrong line, turn in far too early and too fast, then find your heading wide, lift, oversteer (maybe) and ESC saves your arse.

My Golf 4 is a real lift off oversteer drama queen (maybe due to the cheap sport suspension the previous owner build in or to other factors coming with it like a bad setup). I remember the day where I had the first lift of oversteer (unintentionally, at this point). It rained and I wanted to leave the Autobahn. It is my first FWD car after owning 2 RWD cars and the situation really surprised me but nothing happened and now Im always playing around with the light rear end.

Not really lift off over steer imo, driver entered the corner coasting and really does look like it started under steering / losing traction as he turned in. Nice save none the less and definitely got to appreciate the pace!

Looks like your suspension settled when you coasted into the corner. Doesnt look like oversteer
