I Went to Scammer Con! ft. @JimBrowning & @ScammerPayback

I went to Scammer Con to waste scammers' time and save victims from scam calls. I take you behind the scenes of my week at The People's Call Center, where scammers raged, victims were saved, and money was refunded! The biggest names in scam baiting were collaborating in this anti-scam call centre, including @JimBrowning, @ScammerPayback, @PleasantGreen, @TrilogyMedia, @CJ_SCAMS, @ModderPaulScambaits, and @DEYOCLUB.

Thank you to Pierogi from Scammer Payback for organising and hosting the event! He brought the scam baiting community together with this event. I hope more scam baiters can attend next year too.

As a person who receives daily calls from these types of scammers, I want to sincerely thank you and every one of the advocates for the people, Jim Browning, Scammer Payback, CJ Scams, Deyo, Modder Paul, Karl Rock, Pleasant Green and the guys from Trilogy ( I've subbed to all of those people also) for the work you did and continue to do on behalf of the people. It's cathartic for me to see these animals thwarted, closed down, frightened, suspicious of their own scammer squad members and unable to affect as many people. Earlier this year we had a major national flood disaster and people in the affected regions were heavily targeted by international scammers.

I lost my home and almost everything I own, and I was getting at least 10 scam calls and texts a day, whereas I'd usually get one or two a month. My elderly parents' landline also had a barrage of scam calls for weeks after the floods.

The depths it takes to target people going through a natural disaster really is another level of evil.
