Just got a call from Southern California Edison (I live in NorCal). He told me I owed $371.24 and if I didn’t pay by phone in the next 20 minutes, my power would be turned off, and it would take another $250 for reconnect fee.

I told him I would gladly pay the whole thing. Including the $250. In 20 minutes. When my power went out. So he agreed to wait with me. While waiting, I started singing...

A few months ago, I realized a scammer was on the line and - tips gotten from here - I kept them on for an hour thinking they were getting over 10K. The absolute rage was indescribable - and delightful, tbh.

This happened to my mother this morning. The money she lost is forcing her to make life threatening adjustments in her budget. I'm sick about the utter and complete lack of recourse to a scam that is years old. There's literally nothing that could be done only two hours after my mother was scammed.

My 87 year old uncle was recently scammed out of $40k by someone posing as a virus protection software. I’ve always enjoyed these videos but it really hits hard when it happens to you. I now have even more appreciation for what you do! Keep doing what you’re doing! Love your work!
