Many are interested in Golftec club fitting reviews and Wade was looking for the best driver of 2021 to put in his bag. So it was the perfect time to go Goftec and test out all the new driver releases. We'll take you through the entire process of Wade's club fitting and show you how he came to the decision of best driver of 2021 for his game.

After finishing the entire video, I really enjoyed the thorough fitting! I liked how the fitter tried many different manufacturers and different shaft/head combinations. He deciphered why and what the results were also very clearly. You were not rushed to get you in and out the door. This was a great example of a quality and "customer comes first" fitting. That Sim2 Max combo looked to be a winner for you Wade. Congrats. Time and $$ well spent.

When you guys first tried the SIM2 9* Jan 19th, Wade was pummeling his drives 260-270 total with avg 20 yrd rollout (carry 240-250) on stock shaft. Seems to me the bigger difference is the launch monitor. In today's vlog Wade avg 250 total (15 yrds rollout avg? - not sure exactly on the numbers but it's less than Jan 19th) with a fitted shaft, loft, and a different club head - SIM2 Max. When Wade was hitting the SIM2 his shots were said to be more 'spinny' so less distance (besides the first well struck 256 hit) but interestingly enough the SIM2 is supposed to be the low spin model vs SIM2 Max. Not sure why he didn't drop to the 9* SIM2 head with the same stiff shaft or even try an x stiff on the 10.5* just to see what would happen to the spin rates then distance. Maybe the SIM2 9* in regular or stiff flex may be the sweet spot. And of course, better swing mechanics will always help in attaining any goal. Interesting vlog. More questions than answers for me tho :-)

The place I'm going to for a driver fitting "Miles of Golf" is ranked very well, even made golfers digest and they have a heated bay and all year you hit into a real range to see full ball flight. Of course they still have all their readers and simulators going on but I guess I'm surprised as I never see these down in FL considering the nice weather you guys have. Still nice to see a full session somewhere... not may channels do that, so thanks gabe!

Thank you for this video! The second the fitter said “I want to fit you for your good hits, I don’t want to fit you for your bad hits.” I knew I would NEVER enter a Golftec store again. Do they think we get to just erase the drives that we don’t hit pure when we’re out on the course?

I’m just much more educated now thanks to them than I was when I went to Golftec for a driver fitting in 2019.

Great video. Very similar process to where i went. I probably hit 100+ drivers tho. We did all of this for heads and then did it again for shafts then went back and forth to dial in the combo.

Not a good fitting! No Cobra or Mizuno drivers, no driver swing weight testing, minimal driver length testing, minimal shaft weight testing. I would be very upset if I paid for a fitting like that!

Funny when i got fit for ping the longer shaft brought more center hits as aposed to shorter shaft all heal strike, 🤔🤔 cant see why he would not have given wade a stronger shaft in the ping as left usaly means a soft shaft

would never use golftec for a driver fitting. For what they charge that they don’t have a projector to see where you are hitting is insane.
