Brits try the best Burgers in New York!

In today's episode we were finally able to try out 7th Street Burger as recommended to us by @IngaLam. They aren't the only top tier burger spot in New York though as the very next day we linked up with the Burger Scholar himself - George Motz at his New York joint - Hamburger America to try the ultimate order of his perfected burgers!

The thing I like about George is that he has such a great personality. Sometimes you find chefs/owners that just seem stuffy or loving themself to much. George is not like that. He seems like one of your childhood friend you grew up with and can just relax and have a good time with. Never met him but if I'm ever in New York, I will seek out his restaurant. I've made his onion burger at home, and it really is the best burger I've ever had. It's not just that the onions are caramelized, it's that they are caramelized in the beef fat from the smashed patties. And since they are so thin, they become almost like onion jam. That's why you don't need a sauce for it.
