TSA Agents On Camera Allegedly Stealing From Passengers

Police say two airport security officers from the Transportation Security Administration were caught on camera stealing from passengers. Florida’s Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office has released surveillance footage showing two TSA employees allegedly stealing from people going through airport security screenings. According to the police report, the two would “distract passengers as they were being screened to steal monies from their belongings.”

It's why after the screening, when you get your bags, shoes, belts to put back on, I'll take my sweet time standing there double checking everything while TSA agents yell at me to move along and other passengers giving me dirty looks.

TSA Officer here and this absolutely disgusts me, here’s Bit of advice when you come through us, if you have cash/cards, you can always hold it in your hand when you come through the body scanners we just take a quick look at it and your on your merry way.

As a former TSA agent this is disgusting. Their union recently got them a substantial pay raise they fought for years. Hope they got fired because "pulled from screening duties" isn't enough. Shows how desperate TSA is for more bodies.

This is where I have a BIG problem with unions - "taken off screening duties"?! And not FIRED?! That is appalling, these thieves continue to work there collecting their pay check. Seriously, WTH?!!!
