I’d like to point out that everyone’s skin is different and this will not work for everyone. Complex routines won’t either. Nor will prescribed routines or very basic to nothing. It’ll probably take a bit of time to figure out what works best for you. And finding products that work well for you can also be difficult. Do your own research for your skin type and then test recommended products and routines to find what works.

i use la roche posay and it’s so good on my skin, tbh i don’t think cleansing in the morning is that useful i just use water and i’m fine. also idk about canada but australia recently made differin non prescription and that’s really awesome for acne as well

Cleansers with actives need to sit on the skin to be effective

I can agree with morning routine, but would change moisturizer with toner or essence (if your skin isn't dry), since most sunscreens nowadays have moisturizing ingredients and with cream underneath it - is too greasy. But night time routine? Most gel cleansers don't wash off the sunscreen - know this from experience when I bought 'cleansing oil' which was basically SLS gel cleanser and had akne break out because if it. And retinol? Some people's skin can't handle even low % of it. 2 times a week even with low % was A LOT for me. And even when my skin adjusted to it, it still peeled like crazy. And it didn't save me from hormonal acne I get every month with my period.
It is a good base, but not ideal for some people. The problem with complicated skin care routines is mixing ingredients that can turn your skin into big rash.

That physical exfoliating silicone scrubber is actually super harsh, so using that with a salicylic acid cleanser and retinol could be super irritating for a lot of people

Is it just me or do products make you worse and more reliant on products. I only wash my face with water and the occasional soap and only ever have a pimple when it’s near my period (hormonal)..?
