That bright pink is so not accurate to the average American. It's kind of over the top, but I'll agree to a point that *some* Americans go for the too dramatic looks. Many of us are just into naturally enhancing our features though. We aren't all like the Kardashians, Gaga, etc.

Sorry honeyboon but you can see both makeup styles ON EVERY CONTINENT! French chicks usually do different makeup to British chicks etc. but also everyone has a certain aesthetic... US is so big, I have a hard time believing this is the "go to" makeup look for the majority of women there...

Um…I know that makeup in France differs from makeup in Italy which differs from makeup in Greece which differs from makeup in England. Same deal here, but it’s by state. Makeup in a place like Hawaii differs greatly from makeup in the LA and Orange County areas of California which differs depending on if you live on the coast or not and differs greatly from makeup in New York (and within New York City boroughs ) which differs greatly from makeup in Miami. But, regardless, where I live in a very large metro area of Southern California…and, nobody wears bright fuchsia eyeshadow. Not even to go clubbing.

Got the European makeup completely wrong. European women go light on the makeup, they don’t cover themselves in it, they use very few items and they merely enhance what’s already there. What you are doing is way more involved than actual European makeup.

There is no "American" or "European" makeup, it all depends on a individual. For all the people saying Europeans almost never wear lashes, you're either a man who has no clue or you never heard of fake lashes that look natural. I wear fake lashes and people think they're my lashes since they're not dramatic. I know a lot of girls doing the same and nobody even notices.

Also american girls actually follow trends and being natural is a trend now. Same with European girls, I knew girls who wore a lot of makeup but switched to natural makeup after they watched one "clean girl aesthetic" video.

I think it’s really just a personal preferens! i’m european and my sisters everyday makeup is full face and she LOVEEES big dramatic lashes, she feel naked without any on! I think makeup also differ depending what’s popular or trendy in a country

... Girl, I think makeup and color palettes depend more on your complexion and seasonal type (which is our main indicator in Poland) than your nationality. So far, frankly, I've never met an American who could do their makeup at all, except one girl, who only put on mascsara and blush and looked great. And in each European country, makeup is done differently because every nationality has different standards, and because people from every country look a bit different.
