Hey Chris could you do a video on using one or both eyes open and some techniques to aiming either way? Thanks for all the tech tips so far!

Question: I've noticed that when you draw back, you always look at your top cam. Is that just a habit or is there a reason? Just curious...

This vid will save so many people from injury. I did it wrong, no one corrected me and it... hurt.... After seeing you draw (before even seeing this vid) I gained so much ease to my draw, increased weight and no pain. So: Chris! Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. I paused 3/4s of the way through and went and drew, put pins on target and then anchored. Truly a big difference. Thank you for sharing Chris

Am I the only person had to pause and see what was squeaking?

Its situational like you said. I personally only practice drawing straight back due to the fact I hunt from a chair. The extra movement is noticeable. I recommend Recreational shooter to draw the way Chris bee does anyone else, situational.

I never realized how much effort and energy it was taking to draw my bow. After watching this I went home and drew my bow like you explained and it's crazy how much more efficient it is. I was always taught to try to keep the pins on target when I was drawing. Thanks for the pointers.

good video Chris! I think the draw and set up the shot is one of the most overlooked part of form. I helped a guy that was having trouble with drawing and shoulder pain. I told his this exact thing and it changed his entire game. He is drawing easier, and shooting more consistent. Good luck this season!!

DUDE - anchoring after pins are on target is new info! I've always drawn, anchored, come up...and I get stuck right below target.. Going to give this a go! So helpful!

Super Helpful I'm new to Hunting Compound from Hong Kong, as I always looking for target after full draw and look from peep sight, but the pre aiming can use on magnify scope? Thanks

I’ve wanted to buy a chest rig for a while, I’m worried about string making contact. Is this a thing? Or am I overthinking it? Thanks.

The #1 thing I see on TV etc, is people being over bowed!!! Great video and so True 👏

I had a release failure at like 1/3 way to full draw (my fault from tweaking with the release) and it still launched an arrow over 100 yards. Luckily I was neighbors with a farmer but I’m in a neighborhood now and it just still bothers me to even kinda point the bow up while drawing

This is a great video and will save your shoulder. Such an important aspect of shooting. If you watch how the Japanese teach how to shoot their traditional high poundage war bows they actually start with both hands overhead to really maximize the leverage you talk about. You really can’t do that with a compound but it just really emphasizes your point. Nice video.

How to prevent arrow from hitting sight, im at 100 yards with room left on my site tape. I have not smacked my sight with fletchings would like to know max range with out doing that. I believe i heard you explain it but don’t remember where or what you said.

Thanks for your time.

I like this one. More people DONT know how to draw a bow than DO know how. I get a lot of borderline (legal hunting poundage) youngsters in the shop that need just a little more to be legal, comfortable pulling that weight and safe. Correct form gets them to that mark. Now go practice it to perfect it.
