The real question everyone is wondering is how do they resist the urge to fire volleys of arrows into the thickest parts of the crowd.

I wonder why this is in my recommended list :)

I really admire them for stopping themselves from firing their arrows straight through the thickest point of the crowd.

0:20 the bow jumps from Audrey's hand clearly on this footage
but I recognize it's a pretty cool move ;)

Ngl, at first I thought Olympic archers had a special kind of bow that just disassembles after every shot

It spins because you make it spin after the shot by pushing your hand forward and down while holding your wrist fixed. The reason why you do this is because it gets painful to let it fall freely while being held by the sling. With the string, you can still catch the bow and prevent it from falling, like barebow shooters do.

But why don’t you have stabilizers that balance the bow rather than make it front heavy?

"Because I'm Canadian I use a hockey lace"... awww yeah!
And get a Timmy's Double Double before walking onto the practice range.

What!? You didn't answer the main question, then - why do you not just grip the bow?

Does he explain the very important reason why recurve archers release their bow after a shot?

Hm… Archers hundreds of years ago didn’t loose their bow after a shot. Some even shot sideways (Huns?) with deadly accuracy. Curious as to why it’s necessary in Olympic competition.

I want to know what do we use arrow rest for recurve bow which Instead of pin and clicker
And in compound bow we use arrows rest which very easy to operate

Real question.. why do hunters not do this? They want all the same accurate shot an want to take care of their equipment.

I heard how they do it but not why they do it. It looks like letting go of the bow and dropping it to the string without catching, but why? I did understand that you want the string to catch the bow when you let it drop and not squeezing the grip with full hand, but not why you open the fingers and turn it to drop it and let it swing.

I dont get the point of adding all the extra tech to make it easier to shoot. Just give everyone the same old timey bows, maybe with better materials but come on, you need stabilisers and finger gaurds and everything? Just makes the sport look lame as fuck. Why not give them a chair to sit on to and a tripod.
