I'm a big fan of Emma! I need to re-read it before I make any grand announcements but it is definitely one of my favourites and I think I like it more than Pride and Prejudice.

I go back and forth with P&P or Emma as my favorite. Emma is just so much fun and Mr. Knightley is absolutely perfect!! But when I read P&P, I remember why I love it so much as well. I do love Julie Klassen's writing, but Castaway at Cornwall was not my favorite. I think I had overhyped it. Look forward to your thoughts on that one. You've peaked my interest on The Clergyman's Wife, so I'm adding that one to my tbr. great vlog!!

I have not read Emma, but have seen the 2009 DVD adaptation of the book and enjoyed it! Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion are by far my favorites out of the ones I have seen movie adaptations of. I might start Mansfield Park as my fiction read sometime this month.

I'm really discouraged. I was looking forward to Jane Austen July. I read Pride And Prejudice and tried to read other books based on her stories and I'm just not interested anymore. I'm glad you are continuing your reading.

Mysteries of Udolpho - Emily is such a weepy person!! Yikes! It did get a bit much! She's the heroine but a very weepy one!
