This is my “Master Class” for OBS Studio. I’ve spent basically all of 2017 researching, scripting, revising, shooting, and producing this course, and I’m quite proud of what it’s become. why can't I see the drop down menu after adding VST 2.x Plug-in :(
It just just says {Please select a plug-in} but there's none even after the install/ Greatly appreaciate any help!

OBS don't let you custom the path where you place your plugins, if your plugins don't show up put them in C:\Program Files\VstPlugins (if this folder doesn't exist, create it yourself)

I installed it already but i cant see the plugin in the vst filter plugin drop down. I re-opened the obs still the same.

so I went and installed reaper, but then when I open obs and check vst2.0 filters the list is empty... feels like there is a step missing for me from this video. or at least some of us.. not sure why???? help

After I click the + icon and add the VST 2.x Plug-in when I select the drop down to select a plug-in the list is empty... any help would be appreciated. Also when I click the Open Plug-in Interface button, nothing opens up. Any help would be appreciated.

All of my plugins are installed in a custom location. Is there no way to reconfigure the path where OBS finds the plugins?

I installed the Reaper plugs a while back and fumbled around like a fool messing with settings I found on other YT videos but I'd love to see a more in-depth video on how to get the adjustments done right. Thanks for this video series Epos. I'm taking notes ;)

No you got it wrong lol 4:00 you want to have the Eq after the compressor because if you Eq your vocals then compress them all your doing is unapplying the Eq to your vocals because the compressor is going to bring everything you just took out with the Eq back in its place. so Step 1 Compression Step 2 Noise reduction Step 3 Eq Step 4 Gain " If needed "

This is dead advice 6 years alter. I have full Reaper installed, along with it's VSTs, but in OBS, nothing appears. I've tried copying the actual VST's DLL's into OBS's plugins folder but nada. Also tried with other free reverb VSTs. No matter what I do or where I save them OBS just refused to even open a dialogue to let me select or search from them.

All it does is crash OBS studio when I try to add a VST filter to my mic.

I get clicking from time to time when I done recording and go to edit so I have to clip them. It' s in between when I talk almost like a problem with the gate, attack or release I am not 100% sure, but its a bad click sound any ideas?
