Turning off copilot (disabling 'show copilot') does not keep Win10 edge browser from hijacking my searches by dropping down the Bing AI copilot screen which proceeds to print out line by line a paragraph search result I never asked for and which is never relevant to my search which I can always do more effectively manually, most annoying.

There’s also a weird search bar at the bottom of screen. When I touch that, the copilot symbol appear. It says copilot with GPT-4. How do I get rid of this??

I followed your steps to remove copilot & there was a restart button it closed my internet & did not remove copilot when I started up my internet.

It's off, yet "re-write with Co-pilot" still pops up, how do I remove that? Even though it's off :S

This is misleading. It does not allow you to remove copilot from the browser but only allows you to hide the icon and (if you're foolhardy enough to take Microsoft at their word) disable it.

Shutting it off does not remove it. You should re title your video

Yeah that does not work, dude. Copilot remains active even though everything is turned off. Seven months later your video is irrelevant, At least in Windows 10
