One thing they didn't mention is that you should put more weight on your hands and arms to relieve tension in your neck and back. Also, push off into the roll with your toes, and keep your legs together the whole time. Otherwise, you could injure yourself. Just a couple of tips that work for me!

I used to do this without any tutorials, but I stopped doing it when I get older and now i'm freaking scared to do this thing. Missing those times being a child who has nothing to be afraid of 😂

I have to do gymnastics in P.E at school and I am terrified of doing a forward roll.

I have a fear of going upside down. I really try but it’s so hard. My cheer coaches and some of the girls taunt me sometimes but it’s not something that I can control.

I did this flawlessly when I was little. I could do a front full, and a front flip. Then I stopped and now I almost break my neck every time I try to do this xD

Hi I am a 11 year old who just started gymnastics and this is first move I have to learn 2 months ago I couldn’t even roll over but after trying this tutorial I am almost able to do a straight forward roll thank you so much you are a lifesaver 😊😊😊😊

The main thing to keep in mind while doing a roll, is to keep you head OFF the ground, not on it. Use your arms to lift your head a little bit, and keep it tucked into your neck area. You will need momentum, because if you dont you will hit your spine and will hurt A LOT. Im not sure why in the first place you would put your head onto the ground and almost put all of your weight on it...

its only the first step that scares me.
when I actually go over I go flat on my side and hurt my self :(
