If you've got a boss who's a nitpicker, micromanager, or complainer, you're not alone. According to bestselling management author and CNBC contributor Suzy Welch, there are three indicators when it's time to leave your bad boss behind.

1. Your boss’s behavior mirrors company culture. If your boss is a screamer or withholds useful information and senior leadership is OK with that behavior or demonstrates it too, there might be a values mismatch.

2. You're bored. Not every job will be your dream job. But if you aren’t learning or growing, Welch says now is the time to quit.

3. You’re facing challenges in your personal life. If you’re going through serious challenges in your personal life, like a divorce or a family member’s illness, you don’t want to be wasting energy on a bad boss.

The day I was going to put in my two weeks notice to quit was the same day I was fired. I was soooo happy to be let go instead of quitting. I was paid out for the rest of the month and I didn’t have to go into the office anymore and deal with my bad boss. Good riddance!

My dad is going to quit and take a new better job because the boss had not given the money my dad expected from what he deserved and he worked overtime and it was for a few hundred and the boss made a "new rule" they are not going to be allowing/paying overtime. The boss really just keeps money from himself even though he is wealthy all ready and does not even give bonuses if the workers deserve it AND he does not tell anyone he takes some money from their paychecks for working overtime the money they worked for is now his so the boss is not good at all.
