How to Fix an Unmountable Boot Volume in Windows 10

Ran into this error on my computer “Unmountable Boot Volume” after a Windows 10 update, and did a little research.

Commands at the command prompt:

bootrec /fixmbr

Wait until it completes then run

bootrec /fixboot

If you get access denied run

Bootsect /nt60
Or
Bootsect /nt60 sys
Or
Bootsect /nt60 all

Wait until it completes then run

bootrec /rebuildbcd

Reboot and let it run repair if it needs to.

Download windows 10 and create installation disk:

There is a glitch in almost every Windows NT Version that essentially renders the system unbootable when it happens, I think that is happening here. However, there is a much more destructive variant of the bug that essentially makes even Windows Setup unable to recognize any drives at all.

So I tried this I did not get access denied it ran and found 1 installation of windows c:/windows then it asks me add installation to boot list when I say yes it tells me the required system device cannot be found.

I did all the commands but when I tried to boot from my hd stills ocurring the error. I think I will have to install W10 again

Not working, i can't even use chkdsk or sfc, since for Chkdsk, it says there isn't enough space to correct data flows, for sfc, it say that he:"Has to protect windows resources" and so, won't let me... I don't want to download again 600 plugins...

After running bootsect /nt60, do we run bootsect /fixboot again or can we move on to the next command?
