Battery power in cars has long been a topic of sometimes heated conversation amongst purists and eco warriors alike, however, with increasingly tough legislation and the rapid reduction in technology costs, it now means that electric power is no longer the preserve of more expensive cars.
One of the latest of these cars to be released is the Peugeot e-208, which aspires to deliver zero-tailpipe-emissions without compromising the style, practicality and driving dynamics of its combustion-engined siblings. Closely related to the Vauxhall Corsa-e, the e-208 has been designed from the outset to be electrified and, as a result, internal dynamics and looks are unaffected. Factor in a powerful lithium ion battery and a rapid-charge option and the e-208 promises the range and usability to convert those buyers who have thus far been EV sceptics. But were we impressed with this electrified super mini and will buyers be won over with its £29,000 asking price, thats £12,000 more than the entry level petrol version?

Maybe more research on battery usage may make your video more accurate. The stated range is less, but have you checked your MPG as stated by your manufacturer? I bet your getting no where near it. As for the comments on rushing home from Sainsbury’s because someone is charging their phone can only be described as absolute bollocks. Stuck in traffic or using your LED lights is also tosh. Most journeys are not 150 miles so 2 hrs of driving is easily achievable and when you stop for your ☕️ break as this car charges at 100KW in <30 mins to 80% you have another 2hrs driving. If you’re an average commuter this car is ideal, if you cover lots of M’way journeys maybe not, either way don’t believe this 🤬 check out Fully Charged for accurate reviews👍😃

Nice to see a review where you talk about battery depletion, its an important topic as its winter now so will need heater etc, Bro Sainsburys does have charging points where i live

What a joke… From 200 miles down to 160 miles, plus by the time you use lights, windscreen wipers you’re probably down to closer to 60 miles. You would have to be an absolute lunatic to spend money on that!

So many mistakes and lack of understanding of what an EV is! NO, charging your phone does NOT affect your range! OMG! No wonder why few people have watched this video! 👎

Winter range on this car is non existent, you will get less than 200 km range so be careful before you buy.and oh btw AJ good review, but mate, try apple car play and maps, nobody looks at their phone when everything is on the big screen
