Peugeot e-208 full review: An exceptional EV supermini

With the e-208, Peugeot is "unboring the future" and we have to say, if this is the shape of things to come, then we're excited. Unlike segment rivals such as the Honda e and the MINI Electric, this model's operating range of 211 miles will be quite sufficient for the average family's needs.

While it's very well specified, the cabin layout isn't to everyone's tastes - and some supermini drivers may want something better suited to cornering. But niggles aside, this is an impressive package with stunning looks and ultimately, most will recognise that in this e-208, Peugeot has delivered an exceptional EV supermini.

Can you please tell me:

1) does the Allure version of the Peugeot e208 have blind spot door mirrors or is that feature reserved for the GT model only?

2) in your opinion, in the >16 inch wheels< version how do quietness levels compare with the latest Renault Zoe ZE 50 R135 - better/worse/about the same?

3) same comparisons, how does ride quality differ, if at all, between these two French cars - which, on, repeat, 16 inch wheels, absorbs bumps and particularly potholes more ably...?

4) many other testers complain about spongy brakes and a marked tendancy for the pedal to slightly lag in response to foot pressure - tell me, what was y o u r experience in this respect?
