I currently have the Samsung 4K blu-ray player but I've been wanting to replace it with either the Sony or the new LG. I want the best player between the two but I also want the one that is going to support Dolby Vision 4K blu-rays when they come out. Do you know if the Sony is going to get the Dolby Vision update this summer?

You can say that again does disc are so amazing you have to watch it to believe it I watched all episodes the detail wow you have to watch it to believe it does take you to another level for watching TV or projector

Looked insane on my 65" LG C7 I also wonder how much better it could have looked if it was mastered in Dolby Vision @ 60fps.

My first real 4K HDR purchase and WOW! It's on a completely different league to streaming on BBC iPlayer, especially the busy scenes with thousands of birds, insects, etc when during streaming, it's a royal mess but the UHD Blu Ray has absolute control.

I love Planet Earth series and in 4K it's absolutely sublime!

Just bought a 4k player (just because it was going for 149!) and I love the first planet earth, can't imagine how good will this be

I loved Planet Earth 2 but some black scenes have screen noise (flickering blue colours like when the bears are coming out the cave in the snow) and more rarely you can see a white strobe effect on some super bright Helicopter filmed tree scenes (not as noticeable though) the Lava scenes in HDR look amazing the way it glows! you can almost feel the heat! LOL
