What made a lot of people look forward to the revival of night court was the presence of John Larroquette as Dan Fielding. After seeing the first two episodes, John shows that despite so many years his comedic whit is still very much intact and that Dan fielding is still a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom, and can still hold his own in a cast of much younger actors. Times may have changed, but Dan hasn’t.

So glad they referenced the old pool hall episode where Dan encouraged Harry to keep being a judge. :)

It would be great if they brought back Brent Spiner and Annie O'Donnell in their old roles as Bob and June Wheeler.

John is such a talented actor. He is the only actor to win four consecutive Emmy's for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988. He had his name withdrawn from consideration in 1989. Only Don Knots has the most in that category at 7 and he is tied with David Hyde Peirce with four.

As a dyslexic is nice to see something like this. I always say what people expect of me I can't do but I can do things you can't do either.

I really enjoyed the first and second episodes! It really had the spirit of the original show. The sets look so familiar and inviting due to the nostalgia. And hearing Dan yell HARRY! had me in tears. The cast is great and you can see that with the time, this will be a fantastic show. And filming in front of a live audience is brilliant, too. I hope NBC gives this time to gel because I think this can be my new show to replace B99! John Laroquette is worth the price of admission alone! Great job...with time as the cast begins to gel, this will be great!

Oh, I'm just waiting on Penny and Leonard to make an appearance on here. Domestic disturbance for fighting.

This a teaching moment dan was showing Abby that he could play nice guy and get his clients out of jail like Abby ask him to or he could play hard and get the clients in jail

Loved the debut, to address some of critics who say it’s relying on nostalgia and is uneven, first it’s still funny, second I’ve known other shows like Star Trek Next Generation that in it’s first season heavily relied on nostalgia and still confused on. As the show continues I expect less nostalgia and more establishment of the current group of characters aside from Abby Stone and Dan Fielding.

I like the clip, but I don't get how the title relates to it.
