... And this is why JL won Best Supporting Actor Emmy 4 years in a row ( and was probably a lock for more if he didn't take himself out of contention so other actors would have a chance).

A diehard fan of the OG Night Court I was rather skeptical, but when the spring snakes came flying out of the box at Dan in the first episode, I knew they had the spirit of the show and relaxed.

Really wish i could've seen the full ending with roz...but hulu cuts off some shows. Sometimes i can see the end by watching the start of the next show on, on demand, but not always. Like with this show. 😢

I don't know... it just doesn't feel like the original show. Dan isn't DAN, if you know what I mean. I get it, he's grown as a person and all that... but it all feels a little forced.
Maybe it's me, I'm having the same reaction to the new Frasier series.

To each his own but for me the show lacks quite a bit and hasnt captured the magic of the original. A few of the main cast can t act a lick. Melissa rauch producing could have taken on the role played by markie post. Her and dan going at it would ve been epic!! She would have been awesome at it instead of her so so job as judge. 

Rauch could have brought in simon helberg if available as a perfect judge stone (helberg is a real life skilled magician), galecki, cuocco or nayyar as clerk of court with the other a bailiff and throw in sussman as the other bailiff or hold over lacretta. Of course larroquette as public defender. 

The show is meh imho but could be so much better to have even higher viewer ratings. Still could have many former big bang actors as court cases. Mayim, Wil, Kripke, rajs parents and more. Would make it fun. Capitalizing on her former co stars could have really put this over the top. If they have a season 2, i’ll check out another episode but not sticking with it if no changes. In its current state it’s close to boring and has a stripped down feeling. They could do worse to be sure. Larroquette is the star of what I’ve seen.

There is absolutely no humor on this show. Plus the writing on this show is weak.
Every now and then I click on a clip to see if this show might be worth watching, but every time turns out it's not. The OG Night Court was 10x better in every way.
