This vegan ground beef recipe is 100% plant-based, homemade, and does not contain any soy! Vegan ground beef crumble is one of those mock products readily accessible in the grocery stores, but I personally prefer REAL ingredients that truly come from plants. I experimented and came up with this recipe! This vegan ground beef crumble is textured, packed with nutrients & protein, and is very versatile! I have used this in SO many recipes and have even transformed it into those greasy ground beef tacos I love so much! I will share that secret tip in one of my “What I Eat In a Day” videos. Anyways, an extra bonus is it freezes very well! I cook up a batch & freeze the rest in single servings! It is great for a quick & easy dinner night. I hope you enjoy this video!

WHO AM I?

Hey! My name is Kia Love! I am a foodie & former asthmatic that found healing through a plant-based/vegan lifestyle. I also found healing through herbs & natural remedies. I went from using an inhaler multiple times/day to not using an inhaler for currently 2 years (at the time of writing this bio). As far as “vegan”, I prefer the term "plant-based" because it keeps me focused on PLANTS! There are many processed food products on the market that claim vegan or plant-based, and anyone can easily use those as a substitute for their favorite “traditional” meals; But my FOCUS is creating recipes that use fresh, WHOLE, all natural plant-based ingredients. LET ME BE CLEAR: I am NOT against the manufactured products. I use them at times and they are convenient in moderation. They can also help with transitioning from a “traditional” diet; but as stated my FOCUS is plants. Truly REAL foods from nature. That’s where the healing power is.

I do NOT use SOY, TOFU, SEITAN, or WHEAT GLUTEN in my recipes. Although all of my recipes are not gluten-free, when I say I do not use wheat gluten I specifically mean I do not use it as an ingredient (such as I have seen many do, for example, to create the Popeye’s chicken sandwich). I have been AMAZED by the type of delicious & filling recipes I have discovered from using ingredients from nature in a flavorful & creative way! I am not 100% vegan/plant-based YET, but I want people to know it is OKAY to not be perfect! Just start & keep going on your journey! I also want people to know living a vegan/plant-based lifestyle does not mean "rabbit food" or "bland & boring" food. I have a PASSION for turning those cheesy, ooey gooey, comforting “traditional” favorites into plant-based versions! It takes some experimenting, but TRUST ME, it can be done! I have done it & am STILL doing it! This is the catalyst that has started my channel, and I hope you find my channel helpful and encouraging.

I hope you enjoy my ground beef crumble recipe! If you’re the type of person that really care about the type of ingredients in your food, prefer truly all natural, but want some texture (other than toasted walnuts or black beans)…THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

So glad I found this video and your channel! This is exactly the kind of "ground beef" recipe I was looking for.
Read your bio and wow what a coincidence, I am home sick first time in my life with asthma, bronchitis and other sinus issues. I decided in my down time to change my diet (already vegetarian and ready to go fully plant based), then I found this video!

This recipe looks delicious. I like that you said not to over stir it and gave tips on how to make sure it doesn't end up tasting dry.
