We just got our golden 2 weeks ago, he is 10 weeks old we are working on the potty training. We had a golden for 16 years when he passed away and I waited 3 years before getting another. So we are starting all over, I so don’t remember all this puppy stuff with Jayk, but our new boy Barklee is making us feel like new parents again!!! Crate training is going good, we finally figured out to wear his happy little bum out before bed making life much easier!!

You also require a blanket scented with the mother golden retriever's smell before you get a new puppy from any dog dealer. This is done in order to keep the puppy calm for the first few days before it adapts to it's new home, so you wanna make sure your puppy does not cry. This is a natural phenomenon for all golden retrievers and labs because they are so close their family that when you hold them apart, they would feel uneasy.
