So glad I found your channel! Turning 49 this month and have gone through 3 failed IVF cycles over the past few years. Breaks my heart to accept that I will not have children using my own eggs, but now accepting the fact that my only option for having children is using donor eggs. A future without children at all is even more heartbreaking.

Congrats on your gorgeous little girl ❤️ My partner & I went to HRC in Newport Beach, California for our donor egg cycle after 9 failed attempts at home in the UK. I got pregnant the first time with a donor egg but a blood clot meant I miscarried at 8wks. I got pregnant the second time & I’m currently a few days away from the end of my first trimester. I just turned 40 x

I stumbled across your video, and I must say it was so inspiring. We are going through our third round of IVF in Czech Republic. I am 48 and praying this next round will be our turn. I have two previous children from my previous marriage and none with my current spouse. He currently does not have any biological children and I'm praying for just one. I'm completing my Doctorate Degree in April and we plan on doing the transfer in July, praying for baby dust for everyone trying and once again thanks for the video!

I am so excited I found you! I am almost 42 with PCOS. I have a lot of eggs, but because of my age I have terrible egg quality. I had my first son at 39 just using medicated cycles. I have no idea how he got here 😂 Trying for our second has not been as easy. We have done two egg retrievals and none of our embryos have been genetically normal 😢 I’m ready to try an egg donor, but I’ve never met anything who has done it. Thank you so much for posting these videos!

Hello there, your story brought tears to my eyes. I've been quite emotional recently over fears of never having a child, as a single mother by choice. I am 32 years old, and 20-25 year olds all around me are getting pregnant constantly, and their families are beginning to remind me that my time is limited to have a child....I brush them away and say I live my life differently than most, but these thoughts do sink in to the point of feeling almost hopeless. I have crippling social anxiety, PTSD, and other difficulties, although I am excellent with children and would be an excellent mother. This is my first night looking at baby related videos like this, ever....yours is the first video I clicked on after some nervous scrolling through a list of videos.
I live in the United States, and have fear of men due to abuse and would love an inexpensive option to getting pregnant...I know I could likely meet up with a donor and get sperm from him...but with my fear of men and the unknown, the idea of this meetup terrifies me....if you or anyone seeing this has any recommendations it could be a life changer. I don't do Facebook or any social media....and part of me has been trying to accept I may need to let go of my dream of a child because of my fears of men and my lack of money....but the other part of me knows children are my gift and raising one was meant to be part of my journey. If anyone takes the time to read this or reply, thank you.

And lastly, your little Star is absolutely precious and beautiful.

In my own opinion any mother who goes through 9 months of pregnancy and then birth or cesarian has a biological child. But she may not have her own genetic child.
Your child would not exist without you. Your body nourished, protected and impacted on the expression of your childs genetics, even if those genetics did not come from you.
If another woman had gotten the exact egg and sperm that produced your child, that woman would have impacted differently on the foetus and how the childs genes would be expressed. And maybe that woman would have lost the pregnancy.
Your daughter is yours. Love her. Cherish her. Live life with her. She is yours to guide, protect and nourish physically, emotionally and intelectuallly. Do your best. That is all any parent can do.

I just LOVE seeing you two together🥰 Debating about chronicling my own journey. Do you record and edit your own videos or do you have a professional🤗? Love from the U.S.

I'm 44 and 8 weeks pregnant with my first baby. We found an extremely supportive clinic and got our donor egg in South Africa. We live in the Southern African region so it wasn't too far for us to travel and we were able to find a donor who was of similar ethnicity to us (we're not white). The great thing about South Africa being a rainbow nation is that you can get donors of all ethnicities.
