Hey Amanda, I'm pleased to hear that you are pregnant again. I just wanted to say that it may not be the way we would like to feel, but I think it's totally normal/understandable to feel anxious. I think loads and loads of women do. There is a tendency in society to build pregnancy up. I think sometimes those expectations are unhelpful and can make women feel they have failed if other feelings creep in besides happiness. But the thing that really matters is the little person that will come in the end – and all the years and experiences you will share with him. So I’d say try to make time to do nourishing activities for yourself - and try not to be too hard on yourself about not feeling like you think you 'should'. You should in fact be extremely proud of your bravery in the face of challenges that most people can’t even imagine.

I have been awestruck by your journey into motherhood. You inspire me to not lose heart but continue with my aim to have a baby, despite being 50 this year, diagnosed with high blood pressure and an underactive thyroid.

Congratulations again love! Soo happy for you! We’re doing our second and final transfer on Dec. 9th. I just know this pregnancy is going to be different too. Send prayers and baby dust my way. 🥰🥰

Currently 8 weeks after fresh ivf. The headaches started yesterday bang on week 8! Its horrible. Its the hormone overload as you say. Hoping they and the ongoing nausea subside once I also hit week 12 x

My second pregnancy I had bad heartburn from three months on. My daughter had a head full of hair. There is an old wives tale that says if your kid has hair you will be having heartburn. It might be that.
