Joking aside, I think McGucket was possibly the most tragic character in Gravity Falls. He worked with Ford on what was supposed to be a great achievement, and instead he lost his sanity and his trust in his scientific partner.

The most unnerving scene I've ever seen of Gravity Falls that actually made me stop watching the show because I had to process it for the following week was the McGucket's memories scene. It just felt unsettling, seeing Fiddleford lose his memory and sanity, a fate worse than death.
