We have a 2023 Rav4 XLE Premium, love it! Getting 40mpg on the highway - very helpful here in cash grab California.

I have 21 RAV4 le just got it last week it’s fwd so far I’m liking it I have 47, 958 miles on mine! I love the bigger trunk! I had a Buick encore before it was small I needed something bigger for Uber and Lyft

Great video, I had a 2005 Highlander, loved it I had about 200, 000 miles on it with little to no problems with it until one early morning in January of 2024 a deer jumped out in front of me and damaged the front end. People tell me “ you got your moneys worth out of it It’s time for a replacement “ So I went for a 2024 rav4 hybrid which is great…..except it doesn’t come with nor can I order a CD Player. I was told Toyota doesn’t make them any more. I have a nice collection and some specially made. To me that’s a big disappointment. ( I hear No auto maker has them anymore, ok I can see why no tape decks, but no CDs I guess I’m to old school

I have a 21 adventure. I totally forgot to check for heated seats when I bought it. So far, winter has been unseasonably warm. Ill probably get them added at the dealership of its easy.

Its a nice car with pretty great MPGs for a NA engine, congrats :)
I chuckled when you showed there is an USA flag on the fuel door :D
The tech looks great for a lowest trim, but when I test drove the hybrid 2021 RAV4, the infotainment screen stuck out like a sore thumb. Its tiny, the buttons were horrible, they take too much space and its presenting information pretty badly. I can't go back to this after living with my Kia for past 3 years.
Still I admire Toyota for its reliability :)

I hate my 2020 Rav4 XLE premium.
- Clunking noise when I break in reverse
- never fixed wind noise
- electronically issue
- randomly red square message dash board
- bought new car, drove only 15, 000mils in 3.5 years but need to replace battery and key fob battery
(Previous car never happened battery issue more than 5 years)

Great video Sir! Just wanna ask, have you ever experienced those known issues of 2019-20 models like jerky tranny, fuel pump failure, fuel gauge problem, leaky roof near the column etc? Thank you

Hybrid adds to the complexity of a vehicle. If it takes 6 or more years to realize any gas savings. The batteries and weight, I don't see as a plus. The added cost up front and potential costs down the road simply don't add-up for me. Your mileage may vary ;) Over the years I have noticed that Honda and Toyota don't seem to care all that much about wind noise and road noise in general on their cars, but they are usually reliable. I hope the RAV4 will be a quiet SUV, as I will be considering one.

My 2020 XLE doesn’t have the back rubber mat. 😭. It is a used vehicle in 🇨🇦. Probably have to buy separate.

Have you had any dead battery issues with it? I hear that the 2020 RAV4 had "parasitic battery drain" issues. The battery would essentially drain while its in park.

That’s crazy, I didn’t know you can add heated seats afterwards. Did you add it at the Toyota dealership or DYI?

where did you go to get heated seats added? also the wheels. when you purchased the wheels, around how much does the labor cost? i’m curious if it’s like $1000 to buy the rims and then another $1000 for the labor or if the labor is much less. cool video, thank you!

I was very excited to buy a Toyota rav4 but it currently causing me mental grief, because i advertised Toyota as being the best car out there and all my friends see it.
The new Toyota i bought for 30000$ was supposed to be the best thing of my life, but I get very affected by 3 major issues-
1) Rattling sound from the door when driving above 40 mph (very irritating)
2) Buggy/Glitchy android auto system. Even Kia has a better system.
3) A very difficult shift from P to D/N/R, my roommate with 2013 Toyota has a smoother transmission
I took it to a dealership, but they refused to look at #3, and they reinstalled the software for #2 which didn' really fix it, but #1 is just frustrating in a new car.
I can't believe I paid almost 9k more than a Nissan rogue to deal with this in a Toyota.
