this is very good! i want to do the bosses but im afraid of crashing in boss arena's/tek cave which instantly kills your character. ill use this for save scumming if needed XD. also do remember you need to turn "show hidden folders" ON to see the steam folder in the C: drive! (that setting REALLY should be on by default XD), but a very good guide, wasnt sure which file/folder to backup.

its not backing up any saves i just have the original. Shall i be the one to backup and rename every save when i need to backup? this should be auto

like many others stated, I don't have that many saves like you do. I only have one. How do you get that many to roll back to?

i just lost everything on my character dinos and gear, days of work from dying to the mesh. Come to follow the steps above i have no save files to roll back to just the one where im spawned back naked...really infuriating...

I had an issue where my save corrupted after a computer crash. All of my games and structures are in the game still but are no longer mine. My characters specimen implant is a white box and if I die it forces me into character creation. I didn’t do manual saves assuming the game auto saves which apparently it does but I only have one save file. Am I out of luck to fix this?

Is there a way to recover characters in single player. I just loaded over and the game crashed 30 secs after coming to life and now my character appears gone.
