I'm italian and I don't understand why you all think you can't drink cappuccino after noon. We drink it during breakfast but also when we want to drink ''a different coffee''.

During the years I lived in Italy I ignored the advice about cappuccinos and I have no regrets.

In Italy you can have a cappuccino at any time, don't worry!!! Enough with this cappuccino story and if someone is a pain on the a**, tell them to mind their own business!!! I'm Italian, it's 4pm, i'm about to go get a cappuccino and no one will tell me anything at all

Consider visiting Italy in early (May) or late season (Oct) for good weather, less crowds, and good deals. Hotels and events often have better pricing in off season. Always ask the hotel's consigliere about event, concert, bar, restaurant reservations for the weeks of your visit.

I drank a cappuccino with my evening meal right in the middle of everything and no one said a thing, it’s only frowned upon for other Italians. Just like how in England we would frown at you for putting milk in your tea first, but it really doesn’t matter no one would even say anything

My tour hours are late afternoon, eventually enjoying sunset. It's save to walk around Rome until midnight, there are police everywhere.

I was in the doctor's office (i'm currently living in Italy), and in the afternoon the elderly doctor stepped outside to go get "a capacchino. I've never had any one blink when I order a capacchino anytime.

The water drinking fountains was one of my favorite things about Rome, especially since it was very hot the whole time. I wish every city in the world had this. I took a small water bottle and filled it with water and froze it overnight. As the day goes on, you can refill it and enjoy cold water as long as the ice lasts. So refreshing!
Mi piace Roma!

The cappuccino bit is kind of sus. I know many Italian American families, including a few of my own, who have them in mornings, midday, AND ESPECIALLY at night.

Neat video but your music and buzzer are too loud. It totally distorted the last part about the coffee.

I think the cappuccino and espresso thing is more just an avoidance of fatty/greasy foods with an acidic and caffeinated drink. Just a bad recipe for stomach issues that they’re used to—kind of like how we usually only drink coffee in the US with a light breakfast or between meals.
