I don’t mind no ports, I do mind no buttons, I know that I would get used to it but I would prefer to have a ringer switch, and a power button, most of the time that I change volume I use control center (don’t ask idk why either) but I really like the ringer switch

ports and buttons add to the design though, makes it look cool/add character (to me at least). A phone with no ports or buttons would be bland and boring

The no buttons thing can't really be viable until voice control is nearly flawless. Portless is fine as long as you get other companies on board to make accessories like Qi charging cases with coils on both sides, and more car manufacturers to include Wireless CarPlay and Qi pads.

The side buttons are a physical button. Squeezing the sides isn’t just triggering something in software, it’s a hardware signal. I’m sure it will power down and/or reboot just fine if the OS locks up

Nobody said Apple shouldn't ditch holes but they should do it at the right time. This Chinese phones are not Like Apple. Android is of many companies but Apple is only one company and must be careful. If you were an Apple planner by now you have killed the company though Tim Cook is also killing it slowly because he won't add fast chargers to 1000 bugs phones.

I once thought of a neat but stupid idea. Imagine a phone that would have a magnet on the inside where the area where you would put a charger. This idea is useless and I just remembered that a company already did it.

Meizu isn't that unpopular in Europe many people have meizu phones

I mean Meizu has been making inovative/good phones at a good price for a while now.

They also sell good wireless earphones and solid wireless chargers, so this phone does make sense for the company.

As for the company itself it's not that much known outside from China, but they have become more known internationaly in 2018
