Hi everyone, long time no see! This is a silly little track from the album I'm working on. Things kept going awry during this project making it take much longer than it should have to release. Still, I've been working on many tracks for the new album, so regardless of my long break from uploading, I've been a good girl!

The poem 'Tarts' appeared in 'Alice in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll in 1865, but is actually much older. (I think there's a record of it appearing in a publication in the 1700's) The author is lost to time.

Kevin and I filmed this in a beautiful garden, about an hour away, but since it is privately owned we had to film in just a few rushed trips so as not to wear out our welcome or annoy anyone. If I look frazzled and sweaty in any shots, it's possibly because I was frazzled and sweaty....and we forgot stuff we needed. yay!

Oh, and I made the dresses, in case you can't tell from all the loose threads! The Queen's dress took me a few months to make. Please take the time to appreciate the hundreds of bead pearls I sewed onto the skirt. ;_;

This is her latest update on her website:
"The past 4 years or so have been difficult ones. My voice started to degrade in quality and we couldn't figure out why. I lost my chest register and tried to continue on with just my head/classical voice. However, in the last year and a half that too has become impossible to control and make a nice sound with. The three doctors that I've been to have all given me different vague diagnoses and nothing seemed to help. The last one I went to thought it might be something known as 'silent reflux' which means that acid from my stomach is creeping up and burning my vocal cords. It makes a lot of sense, however, if that is the case, the damage is pretty bad from going undiagnosed for many years. I don't know how long it will take the cords to return to normal. But I have changed my diet completely and done numerous other things to hopefully ensure the acid will stop coming up (if that is the reason). Please wish me luck on my journey in finding a cure for my voice!" - Erutan.

Erutan wrote an update at the end of April 2023 and you can read the full text on her website but I cut out a bit to post here to just remind people to not compare her past voice with her current one because it has caused her PTSD and a lot of anxiety, please be respectful and support her in these difficult times.

"My life is more private than it was in the past. I admit I have dealt with a form of PTSD regarding my social media, with it bringing back all the myriad anxieties surrounding the loss of my singing voice, blows to my identity and self worth and the career I might have had. And it was never easy seeing/hearing reminders of how my voice used to be. It still isn't. But I am feeling better from keeping a bit of a distance, and have built a happy, busy life filled with many activities I love. That said, I know I've missed much kindness and good times with many wonderful people, and that is a deep regret of mine, but I've had to listen to what my mind and body were telling me in order to get through this very difficult time. I hope you will forgive me." - Erutan

First of all, let me begin by saying it brought me so much pleasure to scroll through the comments and to see so many familiar names and faces from the past eleven or so years I've been following your music. You deserve all the support in the world and it fills me with joy to see all the kindness flooding to you!

Now onto the video! The effort that you put into your work, the dedication and commitment to your craft and realizing your vision is nothing short of phenomenal. It certainly pays off here - everything looks so absolutely incredible and beautiful.

And the music? Once again, the pure quality of this song is a true testament to how much energy and attention to detail you pour into it. You create magic with sound, and I can only imagine how it must have felt to have lost your voice as you had known it, and the sheer amount of struggle to find the courage to work so hard to find your voice again. Your expression. And like a songbird, with your voice, you soar through to the sky.

You have touched so many people over the years, and you are so loved, and so appreciated. I know I certainly owe you a lot, because I probably wouldn't be making music at all if it weren't for your guidance. I can't wait to hear more from you!! I would welcome you back again, but you never really left ♡

Yeah she updated I think this April of 2023 about issues with her voice so it’s understandable. That’s a pretty big blow to hear from doctors when your a singer man. Been listening to her music for the last five years and she has a voice as lovely as moonlight, unlike any other. Both my girlfriend and I love what she makes. It’s just sad to see her having some health issues with her body, throat, and voice. That’s hard. And if creating music is your life and singing is your passion, I can’t believe having that news hit you. Atleast she is still updating how she’s doing on her website and it’s not just been radio silence for years you know. After like a year I noticed she hadn’t uploaded in a good while. Then after two I started to think something happened or she just stopped making music. Her music videos and songs have always been a nice background tune while I’m writing my books. What a magical voice and mind. I truly hope she gets better. She’s trying out different diets and tasks with her voice, but other than that, let’s just hope she can get back into the swing of things. Erutan, you got this. Stay strong.
