It's actually impressive how bad you made that bad form curl 😂

I have a couple points here that i think are a valid criticism. The first one is why shouldn't somebody use a little bit of momentum on the concentric and control the eccentric ( on exercises which is safe to do it )in order to be able to use a more effective load on the negative portion ( which by your opinion and science based the eccentric portion is more important ) and my second point is that yes lengthened partials have their place, and some exercises are more suited for it then others, with that being said i dont think the example you gave is safe or effective at all for this purpose, doing lengthened partials on a barbell squat is not very safe ( on a lift that generally gives you allot of stimulus for allot of fatigue and is usually done on relative high load ) and the range of motion your showing in the video is not putting adequate emphasis on the quads, your basically just working the glutes and putting your spine at risk with that ROM.
Overall i think this is very valid criticism ( even if my comments tend to very negative on this channel), i think Milo is decently level headed and open minded but tends to go overboard on the lengthened partials stuff and range of motion related stuff ( like most channels claiming to be science based out there)

I do, thanks for asking.

That bicep curl though, could be really big on dance floors.

What about pausing after eccentric at the stretch?

Partials on a barbell squat would be so painful. 🫠

Is the 2 second eccentric recommendation based on maintaining form? The (your) narrative review you cited says 2-8 seconds overall with mixed results for different eccentric tempos. If it's because of time under loaded stretch, faster eccentrics generally allow for more reps with the same weight and lower performance drop-offs, no?
