Not sure about that. Duke University is middle of the road IVY LEAGUE. It's a safety net for brilliant minds who couldn't get into Harvard, Yale or Princeton. Nonetheless these students represent America's finest.

Duke is $80, 000 a year. Who is able to afford it if they aren't privileged?? Even with scholarships, you still have to pay housing and food - $30k. That's almost twice the tuition of NC State, just for housing.
