Vitamin b5 is talked about a lot on the internet about a cure as acne. It's also called pantothenic acid and it's super cheap to buy so a lot of people are interested. Recently some video have gone viral talking about it and today I wanted to go over the science that is available behind it. My 15 year daughter starter getting acne I took her to the dermatologist they put her on antibiotics it did not t work then they were going to put her on birth control . I saw that video from the woman then researched it farther watched dr bergs videos and started her on b5 12 pills at 500 mg, zinc every other day and vitamin A. And within 2 weeks her skin showed improvement . 2 months later her skin is smooth and clear . No accutane no hormones no antibiotics.

Acne begins in the gut guys. B5 helps a lot, but if your diet makes your gut more permeable, or favors the growth of bad bacteria, it won't do much. Might wanna add probiotics, zinc, glutamine, and fix your diet.

Ive watch that video about a mother helping her son with vitamin b5 and yes out of my agony on acne i tried it, i took 3 capsules everyday for the first month then rise it up to 8 for the 2nd month cause i found no effect and at my 3rd month i took 11 capsules everyday except on my day off which is sunday and Wednesday at my 3rd month i saw the effect and at my 5th month i never had any acne, acne destroyed my face for over a year since i worked in a manufacturing company and with my 12 hours that gives me sleepless nights but now with or without proper sleep my skin is fine. No pores, no acne and ofcourse i cried so hard to jesus every time i prayed at night because i was so devastated before. I want to go home and stay at my parents house but then where will i get my living if i will not work, so i thank GOd he heard my prayers.

Vitamin B5 Pantothenic Acid did help my acne significantly. It took nearly 3 weeks to clear my skin. I also drink celery juice to clean my gut bacteria.

I saw the same video. I bought B5, mainly for my daughter, who has been struggle with acne for 2 years. I started her on 500mg a day, then up'd it to 1, 000mg a day. I didn't notice improvements at those doses, but a week ago I up'd it to 2, 000mg a day. Her acne has been healing up so fast, that her acne has reduced in half.

Anyone who is considering doing this, please give it a shot! I saw that video a few weeks ago and I’ve been supplementing with 500mg of B5 2/3 times a day with each meal and my skin has definitely improved. I still have pimples but the number and size of the pimples has DRASTICALLY decreased. For reference I also take a vitamin a and zinc tablet once a week to help!

I took Panthothenic after seeing the mom video talking about his son's acne. Took over a mth for my pimples to clear. Mine was severe, forehead, jaws, chest and back. I also took Dim and probiotics together with B5. Now at my 3rd mth, i still take it just for maintainance of the skin. Would like to thank the mother whom shared her video of her son.
For my diet i avoid anything dairy, cheese, milk, chocolates. Peanuts, cakes, anything with soy. I notice this food has made my skin produce more sebum. Hence I avoided all this to clear my pimples. If i do hv cravings. I would take it but only in small amounts.

I have been using B5 for a month now, it's the best thing ever and no side effects. My face has cleared up and the oil in my face has reduced also. I take four 500mg capsules throughout the day every day because I had severe acne. Eventually im going to reduce the dosage and see how it goes. I prefer this because I hated taking antibiotics.

I've been suffering from acne (guess its due to pcos and genetic excessive sebum production) since almost ten years and nothing ever really seemed to help me. I tried nearly everything, every topical, every internal medication. So far I am currently on my 3rd bottle (b5) and it literally cleared my skin within a month. Before taking pantothenic acid I was getting five to six new cysts every month.. thank god I stumbled upon this supplement

I’ll be mad if this turns out to be true. I was in my early 40s before I was free of acne. I started breaking out when about 10 or 11. Had to put up with bullies at school calling me fungus and crater face. Destroyed my self esteem. Took me many years to overcome it.

I have been using it for about 3 months now. And it definitely has made a massive improvement to my skin.
Nothing is prefect and my advice is to know how your skin reacts before you just expect this to work.
I'm 39 and have always had big cystic pimples to deal with and overall crappy skin but I have had many years of working out my skin likes and hates. I have tried everything accept roaccutane because I have very fair skin and have been told by many people that it's a horrible polllrocess to go through and again it has no guarantees.
Antibiotics worked for a bit. But long term it's ineffective (and unrealistic). Topical treatments don't stop the internal battles (which is where I believe my bad skin stems from). And diary sort of works but not enough to be consistent evidence.
So I have a list of things that I know makes my skin crazy bad. Mayo, butter (in large quantities), cider, bread (white), any soft drinks and any fake sugar (aspartine) as some examples.

So what?
So I have seen that the b5 seems to act as a calming agent in my system so that I can eat more freely without small amounts of things inflaming my system and therefore I very rarely now breakout in massive, sore pimples. I of course will get the odd small pimple. It's there and gone and healed in a only a few days where I had noticed before that any injury I had too my skin (even mozzie bites etc) would take forever to heal over and have new skin take the redness away.
It means that for the first time in ages I have more manageable skin that is fresh and healthy and any pimples I do get are easily covered by make-up without spreading the bacteria or making it worse.
It's quite amazing how something so simple can make a huge difference.
I take 1000mg (2x500mg) before or after meals. Usually only twice a day at the moment. Lunch and dinner.
I also notice foods that make a huge improvement too in long term care of my skin and health in gerenal. These include cucumber, spinach, broccoli, proper dairy ie full fat milk, cream, cheeses and lots of eggs and nothing less than 70% butter solids. For me it's the 'fake' alternative or fillers in low fat or non fat that cause the biggest reactions in my skin.

Apologies for this being a super long post but I hope it helps some of you on your skin journey.

My package just arrived!
Today’s the first day of taking Vitamine B5. I bought it from „now foods“ on amazon.
I’ll give you updates every other day how my skin feels and looks like. I’m so excited!!!🔥

FIRST UPDATE:

Ok I just woke up and today is the 4th day (don’t know why YouTube says I made this comment 2 days ago). Anyway what I wanna say is that my skin feels much smoother than before. Also I feel like the texture of my skin changed, looks more „healthy“. When it comes to the acne itself I see small (but still positive) changes. I mean I don’t have extreme acne more like a 6, 5/10 kind of acne. So it probably takes a couple more days.
This night I experienced some side effects, which is cramping in my stomach. Wasn’t that fatal but couldn’t sleep as good as I normally do.
I took 8-9 pills of Pantothenic acid every day (usually 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening).
I also bought cod liver oil yesterday, which has a lot of Vitamin A. So let’s see if those combined can clear up my skin completely.
I’ll be back in a couple of days to give another feedback! UPDATE no. 3: it’s been almost 3 weeks since I started and I have to tell that it MAKES a difference. I had like 2 bigger pimples (they fade away after 2 days) and 2 tiny pimples (gone the next day) since which is nothing! My skin looks healthier and it looks cleaner if that makes any sense. As I thought it doesn’t really affect acne scars but that’s okay Because it seems like it regulates skin so there are almost no breakouts. I think I’ll start a chemical peeling In a couple of weeks to get rid of the scars. In combination with the b5 and cod liver oil i really hope to get a more beautiful and glowing skin. I’ll give another updates in 2-3 weeks. I use between 4-9 pills of b5 and 1-2 of cod liver a day btw🥶.

This worked for me at 500mg twice a day and i had widespread acne, whole face neck chest back etc. Mine is hormonal. Now i take this every day without fail.

What has really worked on my mild acne is your advice to stop eating dairy, especially cheese. I've stopped eating meat too as per my doctor's advice due to my digestive issues. I am also using tetrinoin gel every night at 0.01% and moisturize with a light hyaluronic acid facial moisturizer. So basically for me, it's been: no dairy, no beef, Retin A, and moisturizer 💁
