This engine should've been in the RX 450h+ instead of the one shared with the Rav4 Prime. RX for years was the epitome of driving smoothness with its V6s, only to be now replaced with loud and buzzy 4 cylinders. Yet and still they jack up their prices instead of the price cuts those 4 cyl engines are worth. Over this world of spending more and getting less.

I am quite surprised Lexus decided to use a V6 in this instead of the 2.4 turbo. Here for it.

Incredibly based for them to keep the 2GR V6 alive, even if hybrid. This is the one to get.

The only TX trim worth getting at a bargain price of $80, 000

Still waiting on the GX to see if I would get that over this but I did see a lite vid on it and its back seats a bit tight and trying to see if its same here or a bit bigger... NICE

Nice car! I sure wish Lexus put that power train, etc, in the sporty RX, instead of the Tundra's.

I'm very happy that this only has the static suspension. I've got a buddy who has a 2015 GS350 and the variable suspension on it is starting to give him issues. Very expensive to replace.

my 2022 Highlander Hybrid is at its 3rd front brake rotors and pads change (all oem, all at the dealer) ... one set at roughly 12k...13k Km. The car starts to wobble when braking at high speed and that is how you know it is time to replace them. The dealer confirmed the deformed rotors at every change. Did not expect that (Romania).

why don't they put this powertrain into the Sienna instead of the slow 2.5 hybrid?

So which one do you think is quicker and more fun to hustle? This or the 500h (hybrid max) powertrain? Yeah, I know, we don't buy big 3 row crossovers for driving pleasure, but, if you *have* to have one for family needs, I still want there to be some driving pleasure. I won't be surprised to see this in the mid $80k range. And I agree, I hope that Lexus ditches the capacitive touch (or whatever tech) steering wheel controls that you have to take your eyes off the road to mess with. Too bad one can't option the regular buttons in the luxury trim(s).

I might’ve missed it, but what or did the paddle shifters do?

Which was more..engaging/fun to drive, F Sport or plus?

Love that the plus is a V6, so what saddened that it’s a CVT. Feel like the F Sport should’ve been the one with the V6.

But no moonroof for 80k? Even Acura gives you one of those as standard. Seems like an odd omission.

For a moment I thought you were going to take that big left curve at 60! Then you realized it is not your Civic Type R :D
