How to create a custom connector in power automate with Graph API #PowerAutomate #GraphAPI

See how to build an app registration in Azure, and set up a custom connector that you can then use as a bespoke Action in Power Automate. I will build a connector that will allow me to attach a document to a Microsoft Teams message via Power Automate. This feature is not available via native actions but can be built as a custom action.

Great video. I have a couple of things. 1. The redirect URL changes when you update the connector and includes the name of the connector. So that URL needs to be copied and used in the App Registration in order to work. 2. Custom Connectors require a premium license!! So that is something to mention in the video. Perhaps an update on how to assign the license.

Yet another fantastic demo! Thank you. You make it look easy to create custom connectors. I wonder how to make the custom connector have the little drop down boxes that the standard connectors have, where you can select the Team and the Channel - rather than posting their GUIDs?
Also, maybe, a Flow can be created, without the need for a custom connector, to post the link to a file on OneDrive/SPO? The custom connector, in this demo, when posting the file in a chat message, triggers the autosave event for the attachment. That is, it, automatically, saves the file to SPO/OneDrive.

Hi Damo, thank you for your contribution, from a licence point of view, the custom connector still require "premium/crm" licence or it can be done via "365 regular E3 licence"?

Hey Damo, can we use this method to post a message in a personal teams chat? because I saw in the microsoft documentation we can send http request for message as well. For example, 'POST /chats/{chat-id}/messages'. Because I would like to upload attachment in personal teams chat instead of giving link to open file attachment.

I can't seem to post a message at all to a channel. I've tried with both work and person account. The error I get is Bad Request 400 - message: Resource not found for the segment 'channelName'. Any suggestions? Thanks for the video.
