btw if you can run minecraft, you can definitely run world painter. dont be afraid to use this if your system can run minecraft.

The steepness value is the best thing to use for mountains imo. It lets you have grass on flat parts and stone on the edges, and it looks much more natural than just spraying on a texture past a certain height

When you didn’t know about world painter so you terraform by yourself

1-custom brushes are PNG files

2- PNG files are pictures

3- that means you can create an enormous mountain in the shape of Trump's head

To save it as a minecraft WORLD that you can edit:
1. There should be 4 buttons to left of the undo button (the undo button is and arrow pointing to the left<--)
2. Click the 1st button to the left of the undo button (It's a colourful button?
3. After you click that it comes up with things you can change (e.g. survival options etc.)

I've been writing a story in my spare time, and as I was coming up with the setting, I thought it would be a really good idea to recreate it in Minecraft to get a feel for it physically, but due to the strange shape I had in mind, I thought it would either look unnatural or take forever. Cool thing about world painter, you can export the map as a height map. This means you can use the map you just made in other programs like unity or Unreal engine.
