One factor you missed is repair and service, if you break an apple screen you can literally buy a good android for the repair price. It is very hard for clumsy people.

Had budget for s22 plus. Got the iphone 13 256 gb instead. I know I am compromising on some things but it's my first time using ios. Enjoying it so far, but definitely my next phone won't be an apple for sure. Just too much restriction, personally being someone who likes freedom and customization, ios feels suffocating. But camera, stability smoothness and battery have been positive so far. Also, I am learning ios still. I still use my redmi k20 pro as my primary phone and the 13 for videos and camera needs.

I use S20+ and iPhone 12, and one thing I could see is that iPhone and Samsung both give me a stable experience and updates are more consistent and better on Samsung(don't know how it will be in the long run). I have faced no bugs in the UI till now, but I have faced bugs in Spotify in iOS and Google app in Android.
The thing I have a problem with is the ecosystem thing, I don't want to dive into the iOS ecosystem because it just isn't my thing, windows is good enough.
My Samsung wins in the camera department and iPhone in the video department...
Gaming is better on iOS but the gorgeous curved screen makes gaming on S20+ a better experience if you aren't a hardcore gamer(gaming was really bad on S20+ but a recent update made it better)
It cost me 15k to replace my S20+ screen, fortunately my iPhone 12 hasn't been dropped yet. My iPhone 7 Plus screen was repaired for 8k as I left a hot iron box on top of my phone by mistake. Service was good in both brands.
I got 15k for my 32GB iPhone 7 Plus, which is really good considering I got my 7+ for 45k back in the day.

I have seen many people & my friends in my country using iphone as a static symbol or just to show off.Sometimes they miss some features which Android has but didn't reveal to others because to keep the status high.
In my opinion android gives you freedom and ios keeps you restricted to their balanced system.

From the very beginning Vivo launched its X series i.e. camera centric smartphone .
No longer I want iphone because I want a premium camera but this smartphone can replace a DSLR that's why I want Vivo X series whenever I will upgrade from my old POCO X3 pro

Okay I got your point. Now this might be a personal thing but I was a hardcore android user and I have almost used android of every brand and I used to be huge fan of android customisation. I recently bought 13Pro and trust me bro the smoothness, the butteryyy experience and that trust on your device’s performance that it won’t disappoint you when you need it most is more important factor for me more thn changing my iconpack. I don’t need 100x mujhe nahi compete karna NASA ke saath. Haan agar zoom hota to achcha hota but it’s not a deal breaker for me. And with time android phones have lost their compact form factor which is an important thing for me. As of now there is no plan if switching back to android for sure.

I was a android user and am iPhone for the last 2 yrs. I'm shifting back to android

A few of my reasons why I'm shifting back

1. iOS is very restrictive. The entire experience is controlled by iOS. On android you have different launchers, skins, live wallpaper, icon packs etc which totally change the look and feel of your phone.

2. Storage Vs Price : If you are looking at 256gb and above you are really paying a bomb 💣 I android phones the difference between 128gb or 256gb is usually just 3-4 K

3. Third party apps : I really miss the endless apps which can be installed on android phones. ( cracked .apk 😇😇😇)

4. Boring Design : Android flagship are so much better than Apple phones. Maybe their design will not last as long as iPhones ( curved displays, fold phones, pop up cameras ) but atleast they are trying to push the boundaries. And to be honest most of us change phones faster and faster nowadays.

3. Unnecessary complications : Simple things like transferring photos, creating separate folders in gallery, Bluetooth connectivity with other android phones etc drives me up the wall.

Haven't used ios yet not gonna use it soon because of budget.
But after so much time watching tech videos and reading on web i think iphone is consistent and good if you have specific work like video production or research or something like that then apple ecosystem will benefit you
Whereas Android is more versatile which let you connected with people around you not talking about mod apps and free movies.

BTW when my budget allows my first apple product will be an iPad and apple pencil for productive works as iPad os is more mature and spending so much money whether it's iphone or android not benefits me but iPad can be a good study tool 😀
