Why iOS Is Better Than Android

The iOS vs Android debate has been ongoing ever since the platforms were created over a decade ago. And since this channel is called Apple Explained and I love Apple products we’re going to talk about why iOS is better than Android. But I do want to preface this entire video by saying I don’t hate Android, I truly believe both platforms have their own strengths and weaknesses. And the decision regarding which one is best for you, is your decision to make. Everyone’s smartphone needs are different. And therefore no one can say that one platform is objectively better than the other, but I do think it’s fair to point out the specific strengths that iOS has over Android. And don’t worry Android fans I will release a video titled “Why Android Is Better than iOS,” it’s just not going this video. So please still leave a like, and please still subscribe with the bell notification to be notified when that Android video is released.

Steve Jobs used to quote Alan Kay: “People who are really serious about software should make their own hardware.”

As an android user for many years the fact that all of apples devices link to each other so easily is something i have always been jealous of . That and how easy facetime is to use.

As an android user, I have to agree with you. Especially with the whole updates one. It's incredibly annoying to have to upgrade your phone every 2 years because there just aren't any updates.

As Steve Jobs once said: “It just works.”

When it comes to reliability, iOS trumps Android. I've been an Android user from 2010 to 2019 and then moved to iOS (iPhone 11). There's no comparison. Once flagship Androids started locking their phones from being rootable, there was no reason for me to stay with Android. Plus the Apple ecosystem is amazing once you're in it.

Apple isn’t innovative anymore, but when they add a feature, they make it perfect.

In my experience, iOS is better for those of us who want something that just functions out of the box. Android is for people who enjoy tinkering. Having used both, I prefer iOS.

Best thing I recently liked about iOS is the option to choose whether we want to be tracked or not

Apple also has better security than android. That’s something important that you left out.

I’m so glad that this comment section, for the most part, is full of civil conversation and both sides of the conversation agreeing with each other. You don’t see a lot of this in most comment sections of videos who talk about this, most have many comments calling the YouTuber an iSheep or another name. Thank you the Apple Explained community and people who stumbled onto this video. We need more civilized conversing in the tech community.

I work an IT and have used Apple products since 2012 when I was in fourth grade. iPhones and iPads are usually the go-to choice for businesses because of its ease of use and ability to be integrated with cloud infrastructure like Intune. And many IT professionals choose iPhones as their daily driving phones because “it just works.”

Ever since I used my grandparents’ iPad (they had the original) as a kid, I’ve loved Apple. From my experience, I’ve always found Apple devices to work better than Androids, but it’s worth noting that all of the Androids I had as a kid were cheap, and when my mom got a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, it seemed to work well for her. Still, I don’t want to switch to Android because I’m so used to Apple, I love how their devices (I have an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods) work together, and I don’t believe Androids have an equivalent to iTunes.

I never seen any iphone getting lagged opening an app or at least scrolling through homepage, but when it comes to android no matter how great it is, it will eventually get lag. One of my friends still has iphone 6+ for like 4-5 years, and his phone is better and smoother than my 2 years old android phone. I found this really insane

Damn, you forgot the imo most important point:
Abdroid doesn't have proper full backups.
ios has easy backups, that back up EVERYTHING

I’ve been an Android fan for most of my cell phone buying life. I’ve enjoyed their innovation. But over time, I kept getting frustrated with glitches and issues with new Android phones or android apps. I switch to Apple and really enjoy the quality in the hardware and software which fits so well together.
