Picard. And he would definitely be rocking an Android phone.

Android, because owning an iProduct is like living at home with your parents, you can live there but you'll live by their rules, this can can be seen with th term jail-breaking, doing what you want with your device is considered illegal, best captain is Captain Solo.

just from browsing youtube and reddit, it really does seem like "fandroids" tend to be way more aggressive than "isheeps".

I myself am a dedicated Android OS user but i dont bash others for using something different from me and learned the hard way dont ever get into arguments online, there is never a winner, only someone who is more unemployed

We also like to constantly re-assure ourselves that what we have is better than what others have.

I'm curious about what you have to say about the psychology of those who don't care about brand loyalty and only really care about what really works for them. Oh and BTW both Picard and Kirk are cool. Each have a unique style, when combined, bring great perspectives to command and decision making.

Why side with just one when both android and apple makes both solid devices, and operating systems?

I jump around. When I was using my Symbian phone (Nokia). I drooled at what my friends can do with their iOS and Android devices. When it was time to upgrade, I literally flipped a coin as to which one I'd have a go first.

I started with iOS. It was really nice and smooth experience and the "There's an app for that" is mostly true and I settled for a while. Until I realised I miss the capability of just copying content to and from my phone without for it to go through a software (like Symbian).

So I jumped on board the Android ecosystem (Nexus). At first (as probably most iOS users would agree), it was a tad overwhelming. There's so much things you can do! However after a year and a half. My phone suddenly stopped receiving updates (while my iOS device is running the current version of the platform) and it's starting to be a tad bit slow.

When my contract ends, I'll probably jump back to iOS where I don't have to fiddle with anything and just happy for it to "just work" OR I could go completely off and try Windows Mobile. I see a coin toss coming.

To put it bluntly, I don't really like the 'group' mentality. I use the device that would work best for me. And that's what people should be thinking when they buy a new phone.

It's just like Sheldon Cooper says: Picard over Kirk but, The Original Series over The Next Generation
