How to get more lan slots or ethernet ports for your router and connect units and computers with wire to stabile internet connection. Your router have just few slots but you need more. With this switcher you can extend more free ports and get better speeds, cuz this one support gibabite speeds, orange leds means 100mb speeds, and if it is blinks in green that is gigabite speeds. How much speed you get also depends on what you connect and if that unit support gigabite speeds.
Wired-Ethernet (RJ-45)
TP-LINK TL-SG108E
Max speeds: 1000 Mbps/1 Gbps

Bro does this reduce the speed of the signal going to each device since one port is being split up into 7 individual ports?

I have 4 ( tower) pcs in various rooms all going back to the router. Now i have to use a port for my EV Charger ( Zappi ) as it is located the other side of the house through 6 brick walls and wifi does not work.

All my PCs are networked, no problems for many years. when i installed the switcher as per your vid the pc that is on the extender will not network with the others. Any thoughts?
Regards.
